Fall Season Recap: North Marin United
What a fall season! Big growth, great teamwork, and tons of heart from our North Marin United players. Thanks to our coaches, families, and community for an amazing season. Onward!
2018 Boys Intrepid
This group of boys worked extremely hard in their first season of competitive soccer. They developed strong tactical and technical understanding and grew into a highly cohesive team. Over the course of the season, they established an effective build-out-from-the-back framework as well as a clear attacking identity. Their progress was on full display at the MVLA Winter Cup, where they earned third place and capped off the tournament with a dominant 5–1 win in the third-place match.
2017 Girls Esteem
The team finished 2nd place in their bracket while competing for the first time in the Silver-Bronze Division—a huge achievement, especially with many players new to competitive play. Highlights included a finalist championship run at the Halloween Tournament in Brentwood. The group showed strong growth, confidence, and game understanding throughout the season and is well positioned to compete at the Silver level in Spring 2026.
2017 Boys Intrepid
In their first year competing in Silver League play, the group finished 4th overall—an impressive result while playing up. The team competed in four tournaments, earning three championships and one second-place finish, showing strong growth and competitive maturity. Beyond results, the group demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and steady development, setting them up well for continued progress and a potential move up in the spring.
2016 Boys Cosmos
The 2016 Cosmos Boys team capped off an already outstanding, undefeated NorCal Premier League season with a fantastic third-place finish at the 2025 MVLA Tournament. Throughout the tournament, the boys displayed incredible determination and resilience, highlighted by an exciting penalty shootout victory over a strong Bay Area Surf squad. Let's give it up for the 2016 Boys Cosmos! Excellent teamwork, boys!!
2014 Girls Esteem
The 2014 Esteem competed in the National Premier League this fall, finishing 5th in league play, promoting them from NPL2 up to NPL1 for the spring season!
The fall season concluded on a high note, as Esteem captured top honors at the MVLA Fall Cup, showcasing some of our best football on a cold Saturday night in Sunnyvale.
Very impressive girls! We'll be cheering you on in the months ahead!!
2014 Girls Courage
The 2014 Courage Girls enjoyed a strong and productive fall season, finishing third in league play. The team competed in multiple tournaments, capturing first place in their opening event and gaining valuable experience in two additional competitions.
The team showed tremendous growth, strong chemistry, and clear improvement throughout the season. We’re proud of their hard work and excited to see what they accomplish next!
2015 Boys Intrepid
The 2015 Boys Intrepid made an impressive jump from Silver to Gold, competing at the Gold level in Fall League and finishing 5th overall in their first season at the higher tier.
The team won the Newark Summer Cup, played up an age group to take second at the Revolution Boo Fest, and capped the stretch with a strong third-place finish at the MVLA Winter Cup.
Their results highlight steady growth, adaptability, and the ability to compete against increasingly challenging competition.
2013 Girls Esteem
The 2013’s wrapped up a strong fall campaign, showing impressive individual and team growth while keeping plenty to play for. The squad finished 4th in NorCal’s Region 5 Fall Silver Division and had standout tournament performances, placing 3rd at the Stanford DIII Summer Classic and taking home the championship at the San Ramon FC Boofest.
Looking ahead to spring, the team is focused on their Round of 16 Bronze Cup knockout match, league play, and adding more tournament hardware to their collection!
2016 Boys Intrepid
The 2016 Boys Intrepid delivered a strong and consistent season, competing at the Gold level in Fall League and finishing second overall.
The team captured the Davis Legacy Summer Cup, earned runner-up finishes at the Ballistic United Fall Classic and the MVLA Winter Cup, and placed third at the Revolution Boo Fest—missing the final by just one point.
Building on this momentum, the 2016 Intrepid will play up an age group in Spring 2026 as preparation for competing at the Premier level in Fall 2026, reflecting their continued growth and readiness for the next challenge.
2015 Girls Esteem
The 2015 Esteem had a productive fall season, moving up a level by going to Silver this past fall and transitioning from 7v7 to 9v9. With a lot of change thrown at them, the team rose to the challenge and competed well within the division.
The 2015 Esteem also delivered a strong performance at the Tall Trees Tournament in Palo Alto against tough competition. The team advanced to the championship game, where they faced a strong opponent and ultimately fell in a penalty kick shootout. Finishing 2nd place made for an amazing weekend for the girls and marked an impressive result in their first 9v9 tournament.
2016 Girls Esteem
The 2016 Esteem had a strong fall season; finishing tied for 3rd place out of 10 teams in the NorCal Region 5 Silver Division. The team posted an impressive record with only two losses in nine division games. This marked a significant step forward for 2016 Esteem - after moving from the low Bronze division just last fall.
This group of girls has shown tremendous growth and development, and their hard work and commitment have truly paid off.
This spring, the 2016 Esteem will be moving up to the Gold division to take on new challenges. Advancing from Bronze to Silver and now to Gold in such a short period of time is a remarkable accomplishment.
North Marin United Soccer Club is growing, and we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated coaches to join our team!
